First I am making WHITE CHICKEN CHILI in a Slow Cooker :
Here's The Recipe, Minus The jalepno pepppers, because I ended up in the Emergency Room with a swelling throat last time I ate them...
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb chicken, cut up into small chunks (I like to use boneless breasts for their "ease" and lower fat content)
1 cup chopped onion
1 can (or the equivalent) chicken broth
2 cloves of garlic, chopped finely
2 tsp Cumin seed (ground will not withstand long cooking as well)
1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
3 -15oz cans white beans (great northern or cannellini), drained and rinsed
1 or 2 chopped red, green or yellow bell peppers, or combination

Hi Angie!
Thank you so much for the nice comments on my blog. Not only did it make me feel so good, but it also gave me a chance to learn about your WONDERFUL blog!!
I LOVE White Chili - it is a favorite of mine. It was Canadian Thanksgiving here, so we are still eating leftovers. I will be glad when mr turkey has left the building!

I have never had white chicken chili. It sounds delicious.
I went thrifting today too. I bought a heavy old, old, old typewriter hopefully to use the keys for a bracelet. 2 cool tableclothes that are washing right now.
